Jeffrey Alan, is a multifaceted individual: recording artist, performer, entrepreneur, sustainable builder, and a passionate, dedicated protagonist in the struggle to raise awareness of climate change and to marshal resources to address the problem. He is emblematic of a new generation of young adults; committed to combating the threat that climate change poses to our planet and to developing environmentally sustainable ways of living and working. These young adults across the country are demanding a change in the status quo, and insisting on a change in behavior both from themselves, and from our leaders.
Alan is using his music as a vehicle to promote environmental causes and wants to offer like-minded musicians the opportunity to link up via the new campaign he is spearheading: Globeaid365, to raise funds to support key environmental education and initiatives. Explains Alan, "GlobeAid365 is built on the strong ability to reach people through the ever-connected bond of music and music community and their ability to move ideas from a personal experience into front-and-center on the world's stage." “We will generate a strong grass-roots movement in a non-partisan image of moveon.org and the musical torch lit by LiveEarth. What separates us is that we are built on a long-term commitment to sustainability. Globeaid365 will focus on long-term relationships with environmentally conscious sponsors and media to keep the cause in the headlines and to take the cause to the people”
In 2004, a freak injury that nearly severed his right leg found Jeffrey fighting for his life in a foreign country. After recovering at a miraculous pace from this near-death experience, Jeffrey is fueling his music and passion for the environment with a renewed and even more passionate perspective on his life and dreams. “Life is so short and I am more determined and closer to my dreams than ever before.”
